Nashville Therapy Group

Group therapy for growth and connection.

It’s true what they say about strength in numbers.

While the idea of sharing your personal challenges in a group setting may sound overwhelming to some, group therapy can be remarkably effective and group members are often astonished by how much they enjoy the experience and benefit from the process. In fact, for certain issues, group therapy may be the preferred method of treatment, providing growth and insight beyond what might be accomplished in individual therapy.

Group therapy is also a great resource for learning new skills and finding encouragement in the midst of life’s ongoing struggles. Whether you’re trying out therapy for the first time or meet regularly with an individual therapist you love, group therapy is an ideal opportunity to enrich your life. We offer a variety of support groups led by our experienced team of therapists and interns. Learn more about our current and upcoming groups below.

You’re the One: A Process Group for Single Women

Reduce relationship anxiety, reclaim self worth, and become a magnetic, confident, and empowered partner. This group is specifically tailored for single women seeking to enhance their personal growth and improve their relationships. The group aims to foster a sense of community, self-awareness, and skill-building to navigate the complexities of dating and building meaningful connections. Whether you just went through a break up, have been single for longer than you care to admit, or have jumped from failed relationship to failed relationship, this group is for you. We'll grieve past relationships, explore attachment styles and relationship patterns, and learn how to fall in love with your life regardless of your relationship status.

Schedule: Bimonthly on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, beginning February 14th.
Cost: $50 per session

This is a process and support group open to adult women struggling with codependency. We will discuss issues such as self-esteem, boundary setting, and creating and maintaining healthy relationships. Group members will learn about self-care and how to compassionately detach from toxic people. Our vision is for members to accept and let go, to discover self-love and self-respect, and through a healthier relationship with themselves, they will create healthier relationships with others.

Schedule: One Sunday a month from 2pm to 4pm.
Cost: $100 per session. Reduced rates are available based on need.

Breath, Body, and Somatic Skills Group

This somatic group’s focus is to cultivate alignment through breath, movement, and mindfulness. In this hour long group, you will be guided through various yoga asanas (postures) that are restorative and trauma informed, while also being prompted to focus your awareness to the here and now through guided imagery, meditation and breath work. At the beginning and ending of each group, members will be invited to check in with each other and offer up an intention that they have for themselves and the group to foster a sense of community and connection. Unlike talk therapy groups, this group’s purpose is to let our bodies and breath be our voice, our teacher, and our healer.

Schedule: Mondays evenings from 6:15pm to 7:15pm.
Cost: $50 per session. Reduced rates are available based on need.

Group Leader: Ashley Fox, LMFT

Self Help Book Club

Are you drawn to the self-help genre but not sure where to begin? Or, perhaps you’ve delved into a “therapisty” book but find it overwhelming to apply the insights to your daily life? If so, this book club is for you! Guided by a therapist, this laid-back and encouraging atmosphere aims to enhance your self-help reading experience. Our first meeting will cover Atomic Habits by James Clear.

Schedule: Monthly on Wednesday evenings from 6pm - 7:30pm.

If you’re wondering whether you might have a problem with alcohol, drugs, gaming, pornography, or any other potentially addictive pattern of behavior, then this is the group for you. In a safe and confidential setting, group members will explore how and why they engage in current behaviors, examine the extent to which their behaviors might be problematic, and engage in interventions to implement change if desired. This group also gives members the opportunity to practice communication, socialization, boundary setting, and emotional regulation skills.
