As a clinical herbalist, I apply traditional herbal practices and evidence-based plant research to support the healthy functioning of the human body. I have an intimate relationship with plants and their potential health benefits, and I am dedicated to helping people improve their well-being through a better understanding of ancient herbal traditions and modern plant wisdom.

I will provide you with a holistic experience, a natural alternative that sits apart from our increasingly broken and frustrating healthcare system built on a foundation of patriarchy and authoritarianism. I am honored to be a part of your wellness team, and working collaboratively with you, I am here to help you build strength, develop resilience, and ultimately thrive through the practical use of plants.

Education

I consider the mastery of herbalism to be a lifelong, ongoing pursuit. It’s not something earned after a few years of study. I an active community member of the PlantFolk Herbalism Program at High Garden’s School of Root Wisdom, and I am currently completing my certification as a Family and Community Herbalist at the Commonwealth Holistic Herbalism School. I am also pursuing the advanced clinical requirements to become a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild.

I’d like to remind you that I am not a medical doctor. I am not a licensed therapist. I am not a licensed dietician/nutritionist. I am an herbalist and holistic health educator. Herbalists are not certified or licensed by any governmental body. The ideas discussed in our session do not constitute medical advice, and our discussions are for educational purposes only. I do not claim to diagnose, prevent, alleviate, treat, or cure any disease or medical condition, nor do I prescribe medication. My role in our sessions is to learn what it means for you to feel most comfortable in your own body and hopefully present you with some new ideas and helpful resources as you move toward your personal goals.
